Our Story
Vero Home Care was created to offer something more personal than traditional home care. We saw families struggling to find help they could truly trust - care that didn’t feel rushed or transactional.

Our approach is simple: listen first, care deeply, and treat every client like family. We focus on building real relationships, not just checking boxes. That commitment shapes everything we do - from how we hire caregivers to how we support families as their needs change over time.
Why we do this
We’re here to make life a little easier for people and the families who love them. That means showing up consistently, caring thoughtfully, and offering the kind of help we’d want for our own family members.

What guides our care
Who We Are
We are a locally owned, family-run home care company built by people who have been on both sides of care.
Our work is grounded in lived experience, clinical perspective, and a deep respect for the families who invite us into their homes. We believe good home care is not just about filling hours - it is about noticing changes early, communicating clearly, and showing up consistently.
Care Informed by Clinical Thinking
Our care plans are guided by clinical insight, not rigid checklists.

With physician leadership behind the scenes, we focus on recognizing subtle changes in mobility, cognition, appetite, mood, and daily function - often before they escalate into emergencies. This allows us to communicate more effectively with healthcare teams and help families avoid preventable crises.
This is not medical care. It is thoughtful, observant, well-informed support.

Continuity, Not Rotation
We believe trust is built through consistency.

Clients are intentionally matched with caregivers based on personality, routines, and family dynamics. Whenever possible, we use a primary-caregiver model with a small, familiar backup team - not a rotating cast of strangers.
Fewer handoffs mean safer care, stronger relationships, and greater peace of mind.

Intentional Onboarding and Ongoing Oversight
We don’t disappear after the first week.

Every relationship begins with a thorough intake that captures not just care needs, but preferences, boundaries, and what matters most to the family. We build in proactive check-ins and reassessments, especially during the first month, when things change quickly.
Care evolves. Oversight should too.

Caregivers Are the Foundation
We see caregivers as professionals, not interchangeable labor.

We hire carefully, train thoughtfully, and support our caregivers so they can provide steady, attentive care. When caregivers feel respected and prepared, they stay longer - and that continuity directly benefits the people we serve.
Quality care starts with the people providing it.

Honest Guidance, Even When It’s Hard
We believe trust comes from transparency.

We are clear about what home care can and cannot do, and we help families navigate difficult decisions with honesty and compassion. If a higher level of care becomes necessary, we will say so - and help guide next steps.
Our goal is not to keep clients at all costs. It is to do what is right.

Why We Started This
We built the home care company we wish had existed for our own family.

After years of navigating complex care needs firsthand, we saw how often families are left overwhelmed, under-informed, and unsupported. We created an agency designed to reduce stress, anticipate challenges, and treat both families and caregivers with dignity.
That perspective informs everything we do.
